Next Saturday will bring an important day of racing at Hipódromo de San Isidro, featuring a trio of stakes races highlighted by the G2 9 de Julio (1600m, turf), one of Argentina’s top mile events, though downgraded some years ago, diminishing its status slightly.

For its 2025 renewal, 12 runners are listed as probables, including G1 winners Comando Secreto (War Command) and Folie Ninja (Hat Ninja), as well as graded stakes winners Concord (Remote) and Don Latido (John F Kennedy), among others.

The full list of probables is: Academus (Portal del Alto), Adorado Rim (Remote), Garufa Mask (Mask), Qué Tarde Gris (Il Campione), Quemetomo (Equal Talent), Sueño Turco (Remote), What a Man (Mastercraftsman), and Yak Sport (Glory Seattle).

Another key feature on the card, and an early step toward the G1 Gran Premio Carlos Pellegrini, will be the Listed Clásico Cocles (2400m, turf) for horses four and up. Eight are listed: Catch the Bell (Catcher In the Rye), Demostrame (Endorsement), Don Champagne (Long Island Sound), Dragonet (Treasure Beach), Eco Rush(Ecólogo), Equal Mostaza (Equal Stripes), Halteres (Hat Ninja), and Seek Wave (Seek Again).

Also on Saturday is the Listed Clásico Producción Nacional (1000m, turf) for fillies and mares four and older, featuring: Durmia (Cityscape), Enjoy Dancing (Hi Happy), Firenze Key (Key Deputy), Flamboyance Rim (Remote), Forever Rim (Remote), Mora Blue (Portal del Alto), Naja (Fortify), and Sylvania (Manipulator).

Meanwhile, Palermo’s top action comes Friday, with a stakes doubleheader comprising the G2 Ignacio, Ignacio F. e Ignacio Correas (2500m, dirt) for fillies and mares four and up, and the Diamond Jubilee (1000m, dirt) for open company ages four and older.

Probables for the Correas include: Angelic Champ (Cima de Triomphe), Ceniza Pampa (Hat Ninja), Contrast(Safety Check), Flavie (Seahenge), Olimpia de Epiro (Southern Cat), Persofona (Hurricane Cat), Punta Turquesa(Fortify), and Risible (Orpen).

For the sprint feature, entries were received for: Aires de Gloria (Angiolo), Azucar Negro (Angiolo), Bailarín de Venecia (Angiolo), Cerrito Piñón (Manipulator), El Mejor Recuerdo (Il Campione), Filoso Class (Filoso Emperor), Land of Promise (Le Blues), Pan y Circo (Qué Vida Buena), Príncipe Soñado (Fragotero), Say It Fast (Cosmic Trigger), Stormy West (In the Dark), and Vida Amorosa (Safety Check).

Final confirmations and jockey declarations are due by noon Tuesday, with official programs to be released later that afternoon.
