Friday’s card at San Isidro features four key turf events: the Cyllene (G2), Ecuador (G2), Sibila (G2), and Condesa (G3) Stakes, all set for the grass

If Saturday at Palermo promises a spectacular day, San Isidro won’t be far behind on Friday, serving as the perfect prelude with a card full of progressive conditionals and four stakes on the turf.
Over the one-mile turf course, the Cyllene (G2) and Condesa (G3) will be contested—the former open to all horses three years and older, the latter restricted to fillies three and up. Meanwhile, the Ecuador (G2) and Sibila (G2) will run at the mile distance for older horses and mares, respectively, both on grass.
The eight confirmed for the Condesa include: Enjoy Dancing (Hi Happy), Santa Calma (Qué Vida Buena), Nisa (Angiolo), La Gran Furtiva (South Kissing), Portuaria Lure (Puerto Escondido), Naja (Fortify), Save Your Tears (Full Mast), and Durmia (Cityscape).
In the Cyllene, all eyes are on the current top sprinter, Le Cornette (Emmanuel), looking to carry his impressive Palermo form onto the turf. He will face: Land of Promise (Le Blues), Secreto a Voces (Springdom), Qué Buen Vasco (Qué Vida Buena), Ruler Man (Manipulator), Príncipe Soñado (Fragotero), Señor de Salva (Sebi Halo), Bailarín de Venecia (Angiolo), Hiran (Santillano), and Lyon (Lenovo).
The Sibila promises a clash among some of the top turf middle-distance fillies, including Obra Clásica (Daddy Long Legs), Elvitas (Cosmic Trigger), Fiesta Porteña (Fortify), and Noche Alta (Hi Happy), who will break from the gate alongside Lost Beach (Treasure Beach), Lancara (Manipulator), and Same Treasure (Treasure Beach).
The highlight of the card will be the Ecuador, marking the return to turf of El Exito (Il Campione), the standout miler on dirt with an unbeaten streak against top rivals. He will meet a formidable field including Concord (Remote), Talented Hit (Hit It a Bomb), Folie Ninja (Hat Ninja), Descamisado (Cosmic Trigger), Kopke (Hi Happy), What a Man (Mastercraftsman), Adorado Rim (Remote), and Comando Secreto (War Command).
San Isidro’s week will conclude on Wednesday, September 10, with the Clásico Domingo Faustino Sarmiento (L) over 2400 meters on the dirt.
