Awaiting the big Estrellas Day coming this Saturday, the Hipódromo Argentino will once again host races this Monday, offering a full program of 16 contests capped by the Clásico Prensa Hípica (L). This 1000-meter dirt race is for horses aged four and up, run under weight-for-age conditions.

An intriguing showdown is expected among the division’s second tier, while the main contenders set their sights on the Sprint (G1). It’s a good chance for En Un Rincón (Manipulator) to confirm the impressive victory he recently secured in the Clásico Coronel Pringles (G3), where he edged out Azuar Negro (Angiolo) by three-quarters of a length.

Under the guidance of veteran rider Abel Giorgis, the Stud El Lobo representative from Azul will need to watch out closely for Maldito Sea (Compasivo Cat), who breaks from the widest gate and makes his first step into stakes company after winning four of seven starts.

Also expected to challenge is Príncipe Soñado (Fragotero), returning to the sprint after a win over 1200 meters in the Especial Juan Alberto Maciel, where he narrowly defeated the tough Maranelo (Holy Boss).

Largo (Le Blues), always highly regarded, arrives at the Prensa Hípica in strong form following two recent wins at the allowance level, most recently overcoming Jolgorio Key (Key Deputy) by 1 ½ lengths decisively.

From the center of the field will be Louisiana Lady (Manipulator), who ran the race of her life in the Clásico República de Panamá (G3), finishing third to Beau Breeze (AP Candy) despite an outside trip. If she finds a comfortable spot early, a big surprise is possible.

Gaverick (Galán de Cine) is another improving contender looking to test his limits here, while Lemoro (Le Blues) and Gonna Fly Now (Key Deputy) will rely on their vast experience to stay competitive.
