All Set for a Week of Exciting Racing at the Major Tracks

The La Mission (G3), México (G3), Refinado Tom (L), and Vilmar Sanguinetti feature at the top of the marquee, alongside two unmissable handicaps

The race schedules for San Isidro and Palermo next week were finalized this Tuesday, featuring several notable stakes events.

The highlight comes Saturday in the north with the Clásico La Mission (G2-2000 m, turf), a key prep for the Gran Premio Copa de Plata (G1) for fillies four and older, which will attract eight starters.

Lacanian Ink (Fragotero) and Romana Craf (Mastercraftsman) lead the field, joined by Knows All (Le Blues), Herd Immunity (Forge), Pasaron Cosas (Treasure Beach), Presencial (Suggestive Boy), Punta Turquesa (Fortify), and Soy La Líder (Manipulator).

The day will also feature a second stakes race, the Clásico Vilmar Sanguinetti (1400 m, turf) for three-year-old colts, with a compact field of five: Coro de Rojas (Daddy Long Legs), Full Caluroso (Full Mast), Señor Dalton (Señor Candy), The Outsider (Roman Joy), and Tiffony Moi (El Moisés).

On Wednesday the 27th, San Isidro hosts the Refinado Tom (L-1200 m, dirt) for horses four and older. Of the 17 entries, nine were confirmed: Billy Bob (Idalino), Freed From Desire (Holy Boss), Lo Dejo Todo (Le Blues), Mario's Rim(Remote), Oriental Boy (Cosmic Trigger), Ridge Prince (Strategic Prince), Rugiente (Il Campione), Say It Fast(Cosmic Trigger), and Suarium (Manipulator).

At the Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo, the standout event comes Sunday the 24th, featuring top sprinting fillies in the Clásico México (G3-1000 m, dirt). Survivors from the final cut include Sarzana Pass (Distinctiv Passion), Aubrie(Angiolo), Candy and Giant (Giant’s Pleasure), Eleven Mile (Il Campione), Flamboyance Rim (Remote), Lagoa Azul(Lenovo), and Madame Bic (Puerto Escondido).

Monday the 25th at Avenida del Libertador and Dorrego will highlight two key handicaps. For four-year-olds and up winners, the Dorian Gray (2500 m, dirt) promises a clash between Endor Rye (Endorsement, 62) and Treasure Island(Treasure Beach, 61). Meanwhile, five-year-olds and up winners will meet in the Potrillazo (1400 m, dirt), where top weights of 60 kg are carried by Emmspacial Boy (Emmanuel) and G1 winner Unico Happy (Hi Happy).
