At his well-aged 7 years, the son of War Command appears as the top candidate for the Clásico Good Manners, over the Palermo dirt mile

PALERMO.- A rather entertaining card has been prepared for this Friday at Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo, where the Clásico Good Manners will be the most significant event. Scheduled over the dirt mile and part of the path toward the Gran Premio de las Américas - OSAF (G1), it has a heavy candidate in Comando Secreto, who, at 7 years old, continues to make headlines.
The son of War Command is a tribute to generosity, currently going through a high-level period, with his most recent performance being the victory he just achieved in the Clásico Buenos Aires (G3), defeating Don Latido (John F Kennedy) by 1 1/2 lengths.
Although that was on the local turf, it should be remembered that the representative of Stud Sixa, so well maintained by Wálter Suárez and María F. Alvarez, reached the top by winning the Palermo (G1) a couple of seasons ago on the same surface he will compete on now.
The greatest challenge for the candidate is named El Estimado (Il Campione), who has won 4 out of 7, including his last 3 consecutively. This will be the first appearance over the mile for the chestnut, who just defeated Che Vivi(Manipulator) by 3 lengths in the Handicap Advocate.
Don Zahir (Daddy Long Legs) is expected to improve upon his return to the dirt, following his fifth-place finish in the aforementioned Clásico Buenos Aires, while Indicado (Seek Again) is a 3-year-old on the rise that deserves close attention. The brief field of 5 participants is completed by Oro Nativo (Puerto Escondido), third to Sabiyano (Fortify) in the Handicap Condal nearly a month ago.
