The colt and the filly will bid for stardom in the mile-long Juvenile (G1) and Juvenile Fillies (G1), respectively. The day’s card also features the Junior Sprint (G3) over 1000 meters and the Dirt Junior, run over 1300 meters

Two of the main attractions at the 2025 Carreras de las Estrellas will be the juvenile events, led by the undefeated duo of Amor de Contramano (Gouverneur Morris) and Roshita (Gouverneur Morris), who scored emphatic wins in the G1 Gran Premio Montevideo and G1 Gran Premio Jorge de Atucha, respectively, on May 1.
The gray colt, a homebred for Las Canarias, is expected to face up to nine rivals in the G1 Gran Premio Estrellas Juvenile (1600m, dirt), which offers a winner's prize of ARS 40,000,000. It will be his toughest challenge to date, with Drive Joy (Fortify), winner of the G1 Clásico Raúl y Raúl E. Chevalier over the San Isidro turf, among the key challengers.
Other entrants include: Gran Porteñito (Dabster), Marruecos (Leofric), Neat Colt (Treasure Beach), Nevado Catedral(Gouverneur Morris), Nikolai D (Daddy Long Legs), Shilton Boy (Legión de Honor), Sur o no Sur (Leofric), and Un Infierno (Dabster).
On the fillies’ side, Roshita, also a winner of the G2 Clásico Saturnino J. Unzué at 1200 meters, will face her biggest test in the G1 Gran Premio Estrellas Juvenile Fillies (1600m, dirt, ARS 40,000,000 to the winner), where Charm(Strategos), fresh off her G1 Gran Premio de Potrancas victory over the turf mile, looms as a serious rival.
Also in the lineup: Citadelle (Fortify), Citana (Endorsement), Embrace It (Daddy Long Legs), La Banda (Fortify), La Isabelita (Leofric), and Queen Elinor (Señor Candy).
The G3 Clásico Estrellas Junior Sprint (1000m, dirt, ARS 15,000,000 to the winner) has drawn the largest list of nominees, with 23 confirmed and the possibility of alternates if no withdrawals occur.
Leading names include Sarzana Pass (Distinctiv Passion), La Bella Otero (Daddy Long Legs), and Lindo Tono Pass(Distinctiv Passion), along with Albalina, Baby Pass, Campo Verde, Cielo Grande, Claro Bombó, El Riel, Emisora Mundial, Empress Girl, Jeanette, La Alfonso, Let Me Dance, Martinique, Mujer Perdida, Richardisong, Schumy, Soneto Negro, Sun Is Shinning, Tiempo Mío, Tranquila Señora, and Viejo Cuchara.
The final 2-year-old feature will be the Clásico Estrellas Dirt Junior (1300m, dirt, ARS 10,000,000 to the winner), with eight possible runners: Cielo Escondido (Puerto Escondido), Impregnado Sr (Señor Candy), Kandaki (Fortify), Neón Boy (Cosmic Trigger), Opi Nails (Remote), Perro de la Noche (Perro Callejero), Shilton Boy (cross-entered), and Spirit Bound (Qué Vida Buena).
