The son of Angiolo enters the engagement after surrendering his undefeated record on the turf in the Clásico Estrellas Junior Sprint (G3)

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (Special for Turf Diario).— The final leg of the stakes tripleheader scheduled for this Friday at Hipódromo de Palermo will feature the juvenile colts in the Clásico Guillermo Paats (L-1000m, dirt), where a compact field of only five runners will go to the post.
Returning to the main track at Libertador and Dorrego avenues, where he remains undefeated, Aspiring Artist looks to regain his winning form following a subpar effort in the Clásico Estrellas Junior Sprint (G3) over the San Isidro turf, where he finished fifth, five lengths adrift of November Rain (Strategos).
Prior to that setback, the son of Angiolo had been one of the earliest winners of his generation in late 2025, before returning from a multi-month layoff in spectacular fashion to capture the Clásico General Lavalle (G3) over the stakes-placed El Rayo Pass (Distinctiv Passion).
Standing in his path is the progressive Nissos (Il Mercato), who put together back-to-back victories on the Jockey Club Argentino turf before rendering a highly commendable performance in the aforementioned race won by November Rain, crossing the wire in third position, a length ahead of the favorite.
Thomas Shelby (Uncle Chuck) drops back into pure sprint territory after failing to stay the distance in the Gran Premio Montevideo (G1) over 1,500 meters, and he is widely expected to recover the sharp profile he displayed prior to May 1.
Coming off a recent maiden victory at San Isidro, Water Waster (Made You Look) steps up to test stakes company for the first time, while Telegram (Sovereign), who enters off a very poor debut performance at La Plata, appears to face a tall order in this spot.
