The Argentine mares trained by Ignacio Correas IV are set to contest a pair of allowance races next week

LEXINGTON, Kentucky (Special for Turf Diario).- The Argentine-bred mares Nanabush (Il Campione) and Ayra Stark (Cosmic Trigger) have their next U.S. outings lined up, both targeting allowance races on the turf at Keeneland under the care of Ignacio Correas IV.
On Wednesday, Oct. 15, Ayra Stark will contest the sixth race on the card, a $130,000 allowance to be run over 1½ miles on turf. With José Ortiz aboard, the daughter of Cosmic Trigger will face six rivals as she looks to rebound from a subpar effort in the Light & Wonder Ladies Marathon Invitational S. (G3) at Kentucky Downs, where she finished eighth.
Previously a winner over the Colonial Downs turf, the dark bay bred by Haras Juan Antonio has been installed as the morning-line favorite, and will take on Kiss Blue (Air Force Blue), Royal Suite (Tiz the Law), and Poppy the Princess(Cairo Prince), the first two boasting strong allowance form and the latter exiting a fifth-place finish in the Ellis Park Turf S. (L).
The following day, it will be Nanabush’s turn to take center stage, as the champion filly looks to confirm the outstanding impression she made when scoring on debut in an allowance over the Colonial Downs turf a few weeks ago.
Racing for Haras Santa Inés (Happy Friday LLC), the chestnut will have Declan Cannon in the irons for the eighth race, a $140,000 allowance over 1 1/16 miles on turf.
Breaking from post five, Nanabush will face a stern test from A Lilac Rolla (Ire) (Harry Angel), who seeks to regain her top form after a pair of below-par efforts stateside following Group victories and placings in Europe, including the Ballylinch Stud Priory Belle S. (G3), a runner-up finish in the Irish 1000 Guineas (G1), and third in the Falmouth S. (G1).
Also entered is the Brazilian mare For Flying (Drosselmeyer), a Group 1 winner at Cidade Jardim who arrives off a series of competitive efforts at Woodbine.
