Friday action at San Isidro features a card dominated by the secondary races, with the top-level highlight provided by the Clásico Etoile (L-1400 m), contested over seven furlongs on the dirt for fillies aged four and up under handicap conditions.

Several interesting names appear among the nine confirmed starters, including Bichita de Luz (Fragotero), who will carry top weight of 133 lbs. The consistent charge of Marcelo Degregorio returns to a track where she has always performed well, following a couple of valuable runner-up efforts, the most recent being a neck behind Free Prize (Winning Prize) in the Handicap Empeñosa at Palermo, falling just short at the wire.

In form Guadilu (Señor Candy, 125 lbs) will command respect as well. Slightly lighter in the handicap, she captured victory in her most recent start, the Handicap Wally. True, she now faces a tougher task, but her current trajectory is upward.

Making a comeback in new hands is Causeway Girl (Dabster, 128 lbs), now trained by José Cristóbal Blanco and aiming to rebound after disappointing in the Clásico General Las Heras (G3) and the Handicap Bernardo A., Adolfo P., and Aníbal J. Giovanetti. The winner of the Empiric and Asociación Cooperativa de Criadores de SPC Ltda (L)among other notable efforts, she has the ability to take control and dominate.

Veteran Aiyanna (Santillano, 131 lbs) showed a slight dip in her most recent outing, but her talent and capacity to rebound are unquestioned. Meanwhile, two-time consecutive winner Arlea (Orpen, 119 lbs) steps up from conditionals with the advantage of carrying a light weight.

Estrella del Día (Il Campione, 121 lbs) has also proven her merit, while Increpante (Sigfrid, 115 lbs)La de América (Le Blues, 113 lbs), and Smock Amy (Viejo Smocking, 111 lbs) will go without weight allowance, looking to surprise against more experienced rivals.
