The positive test returned by Bluclette Rim (Remote) following his victory in the Mar. 8 Clásico Asociación Argentina de Fomento Equino (L) at San Isidro has now been officially confirmed, prompting his disqualification from the race.

According to the ruling issued by the racing commission, trainer Néstor Gustavo Bello, who saddled the runner, has been handed a two-year suspension, while the horse himself will be barred from competition for three months.

With the decision finalized, the win has been awarded to the highly regarded Despacito (Sabayón), with Rumbo Al Abra (Manipulator) elevated to second, followed by Beauty Sea (Seahenge) in third, Viejo Cuchara (Il Campione) in fourth, and Tren de Vida (Mootasadir) completing the revised order of finish.

Another significant sanction was issued to trainer José Luis Morales after his trainee Port Chester (Never So Few) tested positive following his victory in the third race on Mar. 4 at San Isidro. Morales has been suspended for nine months, while the horse will be sidelined for three months and stripped of the win, with Mr Indalecio (Portal del Alto) promoted to first.

A further high-profile case involved leading trainer Miguel Cafere, who received a six-month suspension after a positive test was detected in his filly Cata (Strategos) following her win in the third race on Mar. 8. The filly will not be eligible to race again until after May 21.

The list of sanctions did not end there, as Daniel Américo Pollian was handed the same six-month penalty after his runner El Negro Orfebre (El Orfebre) returned a positive following his debut victory in the thirteenth race on Mar. 1.

Finally, at Palermo, trainer Brian Ruso is currently under review after his runner Bastante Serio (Latiendo) tested positive following his second-place finish in the thirteenth race on Mar. 16. A final ruling is expected in the coming hours.
