As is customary, the upcoming programs for Palermo and San Isidro were finalized this Tuesday. The stakes schedule features three sprint events across various categories, highlighting the summer racing calendar.

The main action takes place this Sunday at Palermo with the Clásico General Francisco B. Bosch (G3), contested over 1000 meters on the dirt for fillies and mares 3-year-olds and up, and the Clásico Intendente Melchor A. Posse (L), over 1200 meters on the turf for 3-year-olds and up. These two stakes anchor a 12-race card.

The Bosch held its original lineup with no defections, meaning six will head to the post: Enjoy Dancing (Hi Happy), Envidiada (Il Campione), Fantastic Bomb (Hit It a Bomb), Flamboyance Rim (Remote), La Mykonos (Mask), and Lissette Island (Lizard Island).

In the Posse, the withdrawal of El Fortín (Il Campione) removed a key contender from the field. Consequently, only four runners will be in the gates: Beauty Sea (Seahenge), Garboso Frank (Gidu), Glorioso Rim (Remote), and Mopti (Orpen).

Palermo returns on Monday, January 19, featuring the Handicap Rafale (1400 meters, dirt). For 5-year-old winning mares, the race attracted eight entries, with Blessed Shine (Honour Devil) assigned the high weight of 61 kilos.

The field is completed by Emma Linda (Emmanuel, 54 1/2), Princesa Candy (Señor Candy, 51), Vengan y Vean (Manipulator, 55 1/2), Victoria Bayern (Santillano, 56 1/2), Emma Novela (Emmanuel, 54), Baronesa Latina (Seek Again, 55), and Trova Johan (Curioso Johan, 49).

At San Isidro, the juvenile season for 2-year-olds officially kicks off this Friday with the Clásico Congreve (L) over 1000 meters on the turf. Out of 12 original nominees, seven were ratified: Cadiz (Strategos), Chuhaister (Le Ken), Enter the Club (The Great Day), Full Lujoso (Full Mast), Lebron Blues (Le Blues), Mayan Goddess (Made You Look), and Sixties Pen (Sixties Icon).

Looking ahead to Wednesday, January 21, the Jockey Club track will host the Especial Parlanchín (1200 meters, dirt) for 5-year-olds and up with at least three victories. Qué Bombón (Daniel Boone, 56), Por Ahí (Strategic Prince, 54), Señor Moon (Señor Candy, 56), Cerrito Piñón (Manipulator), and Río Felipín (Grand Reward) will battle for the million-peso prize.
