The champion trainer will seek his eleventh victory in the prestigious Saratoga feature, sending out a formidable roster comprised of Dynamic Pricing, Kathynmarissa, Portfolio Duration, and Segesta

SARATOGA SPRINGS, New York (Special for Turf Diario).— If there is one trainer who has turned the Diana Stakes (G1-1800m, turf) into his personal playground, it is Chad Brown. This Saturday, the multiple Eclipse Award winner will look to further extend his absolute dominance in Saratoga's premier event for older fillies and mares, sending out no fewer than four of the eight entrants in pursuit of an eleventh victory—a feat that would rewrite a record he already holds.
From Zagora (Green Tune) in 2011 to Excellent Truth (Cotai Glory) in 2025, and featuring legendary champions like Lady Eli (Divine Park), Sistercharlie (Myboycharlie), Rushing Fall (More Than Ready), In Italian (Dubawi), and Whitebeam (Caravaggio), Brown has constructed an era of supremacy rarely witnessed in any Grade 1 event.
"The Diana is one of the most prestigious races for older turf fillies and mares in the United States. We always map out our season with this race as one of our major targets," the trainer remarked.
His strongest hand appears to be Portfolio Duration, who enters the fray fresh off a wire-to-wire triumph in the New York Stakes (G1) over this very course, where she gamely dug in to deny the European raider Cankoura (Persian King) by a head. The daughter of Night of Thunder is currently in the form of her life, and according to Brown, the slight turnback in distance should play to her strengths.
Also representing the silks of Klaravich Stables is Dynamic Pricing (Night of Thunder), winner of the 2025 Just a Game Stakes (G1) at Saratoga and a proven specialist on softer turf. The Irish-bred mare will aim to regain her absolute best form following a solid runner-up finish in the Beaugay Stakes (G3).
The third member of the stable's contingent is Kathynmarissa, a classy earner who has already bankrolled over $1.6 million. Since transferring from Rick Dutrow Jr. to the Brown barn, she captured the Modesty Stakes (G3) before running third to her stablemate Portfolio Duration in the New York Stakes. Her trainer expects to see her positioned a bit closer to the early pace this time around.
Completing the formidable powerhouse quartet is Segesta (Ghostzapper), another elite competitor who put together back-to-back Grade 1 victories last season in the Matriarch and the Jenny Wiley. After running third in the Just a Game, she returns to a distance where she has already secured two graded stakes trophies.
Armed with four top-class bullets and a history of success that is virtually unmatched, Chad Brown once again positions himself as the main protagonist in a race that, for more than a decade, has practically carried his signature.
