San Isidro Racecourse has finalized its racing programs for the upcoming week, with Saturday, February 15, standing out as a key date on the calendar. The card will showcase a stakes tripleheader, led by the Gran Premio Miguel A. Martínez de Hoz (G1, 2000m, turf)—Argentina’s first Group 1 event of the season.

The 14-race program will see its main event go off in Race 11, around 7:25 PM (local time).

Sharing the spotlight will be the Clásico Horacio Bustillo (G2, 1600m, turf), open to three-year-olds and up, and the Clásico Omnium (L, 1400m, diagonal turf), restricted to fillies and mares.

With no defections from the original lineup, the Bustillo has drawn nine runners, including Bronx (Qué Vida Buena) and Folie Ninja (Hat Ninja), who famously dead-heated in the 2024 Gran Premio Estrellas Mile (G1). Also in the mix are Don Latido (John F. Kennedy), Estero de Iberá (Il Campione), Chanclette (Super Saver), Midnight Runner (Forge), Puerto Aventura (Suggestive Boy), Santo Varón (Sebi Halo), and The Goat (Fortify).

The Omnium, on the other hand, has seen five scratches, leaving a field of six, though the lineup still promises an exciting contest. Candlelit (Equal Stripes), Dream Serena (Forge), Estrella del Día (Il Campione), Giornata (Full Mast), Save Your Tears (Full Mast), and Verenna (Cosmic Trigger) will go head-to-head for top honors.

Meanwhile, racing action at San Isidro will continue on Wednesday, February 19, with an 11-race card featuring 91 total entries. The marquee event of the day will be the Handicap Whipper In (1100m, dirt), for five-year-old and up fillies and mares.

A field of eight is set to contest the feature, with Joy Melódica (Fortify) shouldering top weight at 60.5kg. She will take on Manda Un Email (Señor Candy, 52.5kg), Sembra Money (Blood Money, 55.5kg), Aiyanna (Santillano, 57.5kg), Donatela (Vagabundo Inc, 52.5kg), Ocean Spirit (Invincible Spirit, 52kg), Vida Real (Qué Vida Buena, 56kg), and Emperadora (Il Campione, 57kg).
