The son of Il Campione drew clear in hand down the lane to secure a commanding three-length victory, stopping the clock in a blistering 1:09.87—missing the track record held by stablemate Es Aristocrático (Angiolo) by a mere 60/100ths of a second.
Bred by Triple Alliance, Escape Room has now compiled a record of five victories from 15 lifetime starts. The versatile colt has proven effective from six furlongs to a mile, a tactical range that becomes lethal when gifted such a lenient assignment by the racing office.
The triumph also marked another major milestone for jockey Gonzalo Borda and trainer Marcelo Sueldo, who capped an exceptional afternoon by securing a stakes double following their earlier success with Doña Súper in the Especial Doctrinaria Slew.
