The Gran Muñeca mare in top form, stands out in San Isidro’s feature

Once again featuring a short field and a limited racing program, San Isidro Racecourse will host Wednesday’s card, headlined by the Clásico Vit Reina (1200m, dirt), a handicap for fillies and mares three and up that has drawn just five contenders.
Scheduled to go off at approximately 5:45 PM, the race carries a modest 5,450,000 pesos winner’s purse and has Churrullera as its leading candidate. The Haras Gran Muñeca homebred is in top form, having captured the Clásico Tristeza Cat under identical conditions before stepping up to finish second to the filly Save Your Tears (Full Mast) in the Clásico Francia over turf.
That day, Look Happy (Hi Happy, 57kg) finished third by a head and will face Churrullera again, this time carrying top weight. The Stud Don Cheo runner is a model of consistency and appears close to making her mark at a higher level.
Also in the mix is the seasoned Aiyanna (Santillano, 56.5kg), winner of the Handicap Ante Diem and third behind Vida Real (Qué Vida Buena) in the Handicap Perrier, where a troubled start took her out of contention.
La Plata-based Emalvi (Orpen, 55.5kg) steps up in search of her first stakes victory, having finished second in multiple Listed events, including the Wilfredo Latham, The Japan Racing Association, and Asociación Cooperativa de Criadores de SPC.
Rounding out the small field is Enchanted Tales (Il Campione, 55.5kg), who recently secured her fourth career win with a dominant performance at La Plata.
