Carrying top weight of 60 1/2 kilos, she stands out in the Handicap Día del Médico Veterinario

LA PLATA.— Serving as a prime appetizer ahead of the Clásico Polla de Potrillos (G3), this afternoon's card at the local oval features another quality feature event with the running of the Handicap Día del Médico Veterinario (1,200 m, dirt), open to 4-year-olds and up with 3 or more wins, which will carry the added challenge of a muddy track.

Despite shouldering a formidable top weight of 61 1/2 kilos, the spot looks tailor-made for Colour Vision (Univisión) to get back on the winning track following an unrewarding trip to Hipódromo Palermo.

Prior to that effort, the Stud Don René colorbearer had put together a string of standout performances over this strip, including victories in the Especial Cafrune, Especial Jockey Club de Mendoza, and the Handicap Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo, along with strong placings such as his runner-up effort in the Clásico Jockey Club de Venezuela(L).

Looming as a major rival is the consistent Redentor Scat (Knockout, 54 kg), who receives significant weight from the top choice and enters off a convincing allowance victory, arriving at the top of his game.

Equally dangerous is Equal Romano (Equal Legítimo, 54 1/2 kg), a veteran with plenty of battle-tested experience who has been working well to recapture the form he flashed early in his career when he swept his first 3 starts.

Rounding out the field are Hit It a Bou (Hit It a Bomb, 55 kg) and Only for John (John F Kennedy, 53 kg), alongside Lindo Pibe (Lenovo, 53 kg) and the 8-year-old veteran Don Saturno (Blood Money, 51 kg).
