The Forli (G2) and Pippermint (G2) headline Saturday's program at San Isidro, while Friday's República de Panamá (G3) will take center stage at Palermo

Confirmed on Tuesday, the upcoming programs at Hipódromo de San Isidro and Hipódromo Argentino de Palermopromise an appealing slate of graded stakes action featuring several high-profile performers.
The most significant events will take place next Saturday at San Isidro, where the Forli (G2) over 1800 meters on turf and the Pippermint (G2) over 1400 meters on turf will be contested for horses three and older.
Scratches by El Triplo (Mask) and Silver Ya (Winning Prize) reduced the Forli field to six runners, headed by Group 1 winners Vundu (Suggestive Boy) and Thor Medina (Mootasadir). The latter will be seeking redemption after his disappointing effort in the Gran Premio Latinoamericano (G1) at Monterrico.
The lineup is completed by Albuquerque (Orpen), Hit Colchonero (Hit It a Bomb), Purple Nich (Nicholas), and Viejo Varieté (Qué Vida Buena).
The Pippermint was reduced from 15 nominees to 10 confirmed starters, including Group 1 winners Bronx (Qué Vida Buena) and Gardel Pass (Distinctiv Passion), along with the resurgent Particulado (Mask) and Escape Room (Il Campione).
Also set to line up are Avivador (Alcindor), Cosmic Stripes (Cosmic Trigger), Don Griego (Long Island Sound), El Gazpacho (Bodemeister), Nuestro (Leofric), and Vulcano (Daniel Boone).
San Isidro will also race on Wednesday, June 10, with the Handicap Rafale over 1600 meters on dirt serving as the feature. Seven fillies and mares were confirmed, with End of Spring (Il Campione) assigned top weight of 60.5 kilos.
At Palermo, the week's feature comes Friday in the form of the República de Panamá (G3), a 1000-meter dirt sprint for fillies and mares carrying a winner's purse of Ps. 12,600,000.
Lissette Island (Lizard Island) will attempt to continue her excellent form against A La Vista (Angiolo), Enjoy Dancing (Hi Happy), Forever You (Full Mast), Free Prize (Winning Prize), Jugadoraza (Winning Prize), La Bella Otero (Daddy Long Legs), La Farce (Emmanuel), and Máxima Risk (Security Risk).
Looking ahead to next week, Palermo will stage a strong stakes double on Monday with the Handicap Platería over 1400 meters on turf and the Especial Juan A. Maciel over 1200 meters on dirt, providing another quality program to kick off the racing week.
