Beginning at 2 p.m. at the Tattersall at Haras La Pasión, 52 yearlings will go through the ring, featuring the progeny of established sires and top-class female lines. Among the highlights are siblings to Group winners Subsanador, Niño Guapo and the multiple Group 1-winning mare Pretty Girl.

For over a decade, the Copa Bullrich has stood as one of the benchmark yearling sales in Argentina. Initially recognized for its innovative multi-day format—reminiscent of leading international sales houses—it has since evolved into a series of select events throughout the season, with the April edition traditionally showcasing the strongest catalog.
This afternoon at 2 p.m., the ring at the Tattersall of Haras La Pasión, located at Kilometer 98.4 on National Route 8 in Solís, Buenos Aires Province, will host a new edition of the sale. As always, the event will bring together top breeders and a high-quality selection of yearlings by some of the most prominent sires in the region.
A total of 52 yearlings will be offered, with consignments from Haras El Chañar, Santa Inés, El Arroyo, El Mallín, and La Leyenda. Among the sires represented are Fortify (Distorted Humor), Daddy Long Legs (Scat Daddy), Equal Stripes (Candy Stripes), Gouverneur Morris (Constitution), Cima de Triomphe (Galileo), Hi Happy (Pure Prize), Il Mercato (Not for Sale), Nicholas (Equal Stripes), Señor Candy (Candy Ride), Storm Embrujado (Bernstein), and Treasure Beach (Galileo), as well as early offerings from Sovereign (Galileo), winner of the Irish Derby, and sons of Uncle Mo, Pneumatic and Uncle Chuck.
Among the headline lots is Cita Perfecta, a filly by Sovereign and out of Save the Date (Hurricane Cat), offered by El Mallín. She is a half-sister to Subsanador (Fortify), Argentina’s Champion 2-Year-Old Colt and dual graded winner in the U.S. in 2024, having captured both the GI California Crown Stakes and GIII Philip H. Iselin Stakes. The filly hails from the same female family as the late stakes producer Sa Torreta (Southern Halo), granddam of record-setting stakes winner Satu (Catcher In the Rye).
Also drawing interest is Niño Feliz (Equal Stripes–Burg Aniñada, by Johannesburg), a maternal half-brother to Niño Guapo (Catcher In the Rye), winner of the G1 Gran Premio Nacional at Palermo. He is part of the deep and influential female line descending from Nipona (Babas Fables).
Another key offering from El Chañar is Pintón (Pneumatic–Piba Como Vos, by Candy Stripes), a maternal half-brother to G1 winner Pretty Girl (Harlan’s Holiday); Lovely Lady (Honour and Glory), dam of 2023 Champion 2-Year-Old Colt Dark Love (In the Dark); and Una Diosa (Catcher In the Rye), dam of classic winner Un Rayo (Easing Along).
From Haras Santa Inés comes Manhattan Joy (Fortify–Modern Girl, by Southern Halo), a half-brother to G2 winner Modern Chic (Grand Reward) and multiple stakes winners Flor de Texao (Winning Prize) and Unchained Melody(Endorsement). El Arroyo will present Joy Música (Fortify–Melodian Girl, by Not for Sale), a full-sister to classic winner *Joy Melódica. Meanwhile, La Leyenda will offer Nunca Taxi (Gouverneur Morris–Nina Bernstein, by Bernstein), a half-brother to G2-placed Ninetta (Horse Greeley).
The catalog also features siblings to notable stakes performers including Nistel Seiter (Van Nistelrooy), Despacito(Sabayón), Embriagame (Fragotero), Force Majeure (Manipulator), Pablinho (Hurricane Cat), Bichita de Luz(Fragotero), and Forest Gump (Hurricane Cat), among others.
