LA FRANCIA, Córdoba (Special for Turf Diario).- Late September always signals a highlight on the national turf calendar, as Haras Don Florentino gears up for its annual celebration. This Saturday marks the 41st edition of its Gran Remate de Productos, set to begin at 2 p.m. at the farm’s facilities, with the Grimaldi family team overseeing every detail.

Under attractive payment conditions—10 installments in pesos—the sale will feature 31 colts and fillies born in 2023, alongside a smaller group of 2024 yearlings and a select offering of broodmares.

As always, the spotlight will fall on the yearlings, with progeny of established sire Qué Vida Buena (Bernstein), champion Touareg (Easing Along), top-level winners Perro Callejero (Qué Vida Buena) and The Great Day (Harlan’s Holiday), and international stallion Japan (Medaglia d’Oro).

Among the catalog’s highlights is Gran Sombrero (Qué Vida Buena – Street of Love, by Catcher In the Rye), a full brother to Perro Callejero (G1) and multiple stakes winner Bar de Copas.

Also on offer is a 50% share in La Gran Vedette (The Great Day – Vedette’s Gulch, by Thunder Gulch), a half-sister to Ette Candy (Sidney’s Candy), winner of the Clásico Onesto Puente (L) and Clásico Pedro Benoit.

Expect strong bidding as well for Pan y Vino (Qué Vida Buena – Piamontina, by Exchange Rate), a genetic replica of Pan y Circo, who scored eight victories at La Plata, highlighted by the Clásico Uberto F. Vignart (G3)Asociación Bonaerense de Propietarios de Caballos de Carrera (G3), and back-to-back editions of the Clásico Emilio Casares (L).

In the pre-sale offers—already open and closing Friday at 8 p.m.—one standout is Rey Emérito (Qué Vida Buena – Royal Action, by Anabaa), a full brother to La Reliquia, winner of the Handicap Tintilla and the Clásico Oscar C. Boero – La Carrera del Año at San Francisco.
