The daughter of Suggestive Boy, winner of this same race a year ago, returns to her preferred distance as the one to beat among 10 sprinters; Lisette Island and Verenna appear as her main challengers

The San Isidro Racecourse’s double-meeting week kicks off this Wednesday with a typically low-tier card, highlighted by the Clásico Snow Figure, a handicap for fillies aged three and up contested over 1200 meters on dirt, with a modest winner’s purse of 5,450,000 pesos.
With 10 confirmed starters, the race promises plenty of speed, though the experienced Early Life (Suggestive Boy) stands out as the favorite. Carrying top weight of 60.5 kilos, she returns to her preferred sprint distance after a stumble in the Clásico General Las Heras (G3) over 1400 meters.
The chestnut, winner of this very race a year ago, typically takes the lead from the start and will look to secure an early advantage despite drawing the wide post 9.
Early Life faces her chief hierarchical rival in the form of Lisette Island (Lizard Island, 56 kg), coming off an impressive performance at Palermo, where she defeated Aspra (Cosmic Trigger) by eight lengths in a conditional race, clocking a sharp 1:08.56. Francisco Leandro will be aboard the Stud El Káiser filly.
From the far outside gate comes Verenna (Cosmic Trigger, 56.5 kg), lightly weighted after disappointing efforts in the Fernández Guerrico (G2) and the Doria. Previously, she had clearly dominated Dream Serena (Forge), Save Your Tears (Full Mast), and the improving Candlelit (Equal Stripes) in the Omnium (L), which arguably warranted a higher weight assignment.
The inconsistent Bichita de Luz (Fragotero, 58.5 kg) faltered in the Las Heras after an unexpected win in the Clásico Vale Dori, under similar conditions to this race. She may once again post a high number atop the tote board.
For a bigger upset, keep an eye on Beauty Check (Safety Check, 53 kg), well-weighted to pull off a surprise, or Friendy Miss (Japan, 55.5 kg).
