Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's. Just as most of the meetings this season were an ordeal of low quality at the Hipódromo de San Isidro, this Saturday a completely opposite landscape will be experienced, thanks to a formidable program.

The matter will not be of high scale only because three graded stakes will be run, including luxury and attractive presences, but also because on the allowance level the panorama is similar, with 2-year-olds in action in their first challenges over 1400 meters, and also other commitments from which, surely, names will emerge that will soon attend the superior level.

The Viamonte (G3) with Labrado (Le Blues) will be one of the contributions, and an even Fernández Guerrico (G2) will provide a reference for the mares in the mile. Both are discussed separately, and here space will be given to the best clash of the day: the Clásico Horacio Bustillo (G2-1600 m, turf), for all horses 3 years old and up.

The occasion may serve for Earth God to ratify his total dominance in the division, as the son of Cosmic Triggerknows what it is to shine on both surfaces. His story is well known, and in his account, there are already no less than 4 G1 victories: the Gran Criterium (G1), the San Isidro (G1), the Palermo (G1), and the Joaquín S. de Anchorena(G1).

The latter marked his farewell to the tracks in December, rounding off a very solid performance, beyond the narrow neck margin that separated him that time from the good What a Man (Mastercraftsman), who is now absent.

A horse capable of adapting to any type of development, Earth God crosses paths with Colifato Novo, an old acquaintance who managed to take away his leadership as the best 2-year-old when he left him behind in the 2024 Gran Premio Estrellas Juvenile (G1). That day, the candidate suffered a nasty cut on a leg that marked the beginning of a period of low performance from which he later recovered.

For Colifato Novo, one of the horses with the most fans in the country, it was his consecration as champion and the first of his two G1 successes, as he would later win the 2000 Guineas (G1).

The pupil of Joaquín Cano is in clear recovery, winning the Pedro Chapar (G3) and the Invasor (G3), with a third in between in the Urbano de Iriondo (L), and now returns to the mile with the illusion of maintaining that favorable momentum.

He will go to the front, as always, and the secret will be for Iván Monasterolo, his jockey, to be able to manage the rhythm with moderate fractions. If that happens, catching him later could be complicated.

There are a couple of colts in the lineup that are quite promising: Sargento Morris (Gouverneur Morris), recent hero in the Clásico Haras Ojo de Agua (L), and Liberto (Hurricane Cat), an important protagonist during the previous calendar's selective process who returned with a crushing allowance victory.

The figures do not end there, as Qué Tarde Gris (Il Campione) and Don Latido (John F. Kennedy) provide extensive experience and graded victories, with Majority Wins (Master of Hounds) and Fanfarroneando (Daniel Boone) rounding out the field.

An unmissable great race, the Bustillo, within a date that comes with the recommendation not to miss a single detail, whether live from the grandstand or via streaming at home.
