The middle-distance and sprint clashes promise top-level racing action this Saturday at the Jockey Club

Just a few scratches were recorded for the Gran Premio San Isidro (G1-1600 m) and Suipacha (G1-1000 m), both on turf, the two supporting races for the Gran Premio Jockey Club (G1) on Saturday at the Hipódromo de San Isidro. There were no withdrawals in the middle-distance feature, leaving 12 participants, while the sprint attracted 18, a number that could influence the pace and strategy.
Earth God (Cosmic Trigger) faces a tough defense of his title in the San Isidro, going up against progressive types like Kopke (Hi Happy), Storm Sound (Hi Happy), Concord (Remote), Adorado Rim (Remote), and the classic winners Ronda de Ases (Forge) and Talented Hit (Hit It a Bomb).
