Easytalking, a 13-year-old daughter of Easing Along in foal to The Great Day (Harlan’s Holiday), brought the top price at the Haras Firmamento Mixed Sale, held this Tuesday in a fully online format and organized by Antonio Bullrich SA.

The final bid of $10,500 came from Haras Las Retamas, securing the chestnut mare, who won five races during her career, including the Especial Jockey Club de Santa Fe, and also placed second in the Polla de Potrancas (G2) and third in the Gran Premio Selección de Potrancas (G1).

At stud, Easytalking has already produced winners Isi Rimout (Remote), Talking Rim (Remote) and Easy Peasy (Hit It a Bomb). She is a half-sister to stakes-placed Lethenid (Honour and Glory) and to First Dubai (E Dubai), the dam of G2 winner Super Number (Super Saver) and Chilean listed winner Penny Lane (Mastercraftsman).

Her granddam Durrah (Nijinsky) is a three-quarter sister to the outstanding Nureyev (Northern Dancer) and hails from the prolific Number family, which also produced the well-known Numerous (Mr. Prospector) and traces back to Bound.

Among broodmares, the second-highest price was recorded by Marian Ruler (Roman Ruler), a two-time winner at San Isidro, in foal to G1 winner Slow Down Andy (Nyquist), who was purchased for $9,600 by Juan Andrés Ramírez for Uruguay.

The bay mare, foaled in 2017, traces back to Clear Mandate (Deputy Minister) as her third dam, a multiple Grade I winner in the United States and an outstanding producer, responsible for Strong Mandate (Tiznow), Newfoundland(Storm Cat)—a successful sire in Chile—and Full Mandate (A.P. Indy).

Completing the top three among broodmares was Espléndida Craf (Mastercraftsman), also in foal to The Great Day, a granddaughter of the outstanding Esnaola (Ringaro), and likewise purchased by Haras Las Retamas for $6,900.

Among the 2024 fillies, the top price went to Mi Alameda (Hi Happy), who brought $5,400. She is the first foal out of Alameda Bomb (Hit It a Bomb), a half-sister to G2 winner American Charity (Roman Ruler), from the family of G1 winner Perugia Wells (Poliglote).

Another notable result among the fillies came from The Great Quimera (The Great DaySmart Rye, by Catcher In the Rye), who sold for $4,600. She is a granddaughter of G1 winner Smart Wells (Poliglote), from the family of the outstanding Mi Quimera (Good Manners).
