Will try to take each of the three divisions of the Especial Encuentro Provincial Invierno among the older horses

Older horses will also have their place on Sunday at Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo, in a card dedicated to runners that campaign in the country’s interior, featuring three divisions of the Encuentro Provincial Invierno Special, each over 1000 meters on dirt.
The action will start early, with the first split scheduled as Race 2, where Eccentric looks like an interesting candidate. The son of Il Campione returns to Palermo after 210 days, having finished second by two lengths behind Giant Stormy(Giant Steps) in the Encuentro Provincial Special last December.
He’ll face strong opposition from several rivals, including the Rosario-based fillies Cash Cash (Touareg) and La Diva Real (Touareg), Tucumán winner Gruta di Bacu, and Córdoba’s Este Sí Glory (Glory Seattle).
The second division features two horses already familiar to the official circuit: Oddy (South Kissing), who was narrowly beaten by Amante Trovador (Angiolo) in the Encuentro Provincial Machos before finishing fourth behind the multiple winner Lakka (Manipulator) in the Super Encuentro Provincial Special; and Los Palmera (Enzo Stripes), who has already visited the winner’s circle in Rosario.
Multiple interior winner El Vodka (Emperor Richard) is another name to watch, as well as Somos Uno (Santillano), a dual winner in La Pampa, and Putt for Birdie (Qué Vida Buena), a promising Córdoba-based filly from Don Florentino.
The final division for horses aged four and up will see Fantástico Key (Key Deputy) as the name to beat, with multiple wins in Córdoba on different tracks.
Trained by the Crucci team and carrying the familiar colors of Stud El Charabón, Wi Milagros (Wi Fi) also brings strong credentials from the competitive Córdoba circuit.
Prepared by Daniel Cima, Qué Cacho Bueno (Qué Vida Buena) comes off a powerful victory, while Le Genaro (Le Sortilege) will also line up after consecutive wins in Córdoba and then Santa Fe, the latter by a wide margin.
