Fighting back to return at the finish against Endor Rye, the bay secured his fifth consecutive stakes victory in the Haras Argentinos (G3)

Each chapter in the life of El Emporio seems to offer something new. This time, the son of Il Campione extended his dream moment with a brave victory in the Clásico Haras Argentinos, which on Friday at the Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo premiered its G3 status.
For the fifth consecutive time, the bay crosses the line first there in important races over the distance, establishing himself as a force destined to be a great protagonist of the upcoming Campeonato de Oro, especially considering that the category does not exactly overflow with stars.
El Emporio had always been winning with a certain ease, but now he had to appeal to a good dose of grit to twist the arm of a tough, experienced, and well-tested rival like Endor Rye (Endorsement), who dominated the big favorite in the stretch as if never to let go of first place again.
However, firmly punished by Juan Cruz Villagra, his jockey, he returned in the final part, overcame the representative of Stud Los Molestos, and ended up taking it all by a neck in a time of 2m5s11/100, acceptable on a track that, unless the rains make an appearance, will not be very forgiving during the summer season.
At 10 lengths, literally in another race, Super Inter (Super Saver) completed the trifecta, tiring from the 500-meter mark to the finish line after losing the lead he had held since the start under fractions of 26s84/100, 51s33/100, and 1m15s39/100.
Holy Holy Rim (Remote) disappointed greatly with his fourth-place finish at 15 1/4 lengths from the winner, with Gadzooks (Galán de Cine) 6 more lengths back, closing the march as was expected since the day of the entries.
From Stud Juan Martín, and trained by Humberto Benesperi, El Emporio remains unstoppable at the Buenos Airesdistance, enjoying that productive mix that occurs when capability finds the support of health.
The Otoño (G2) is coming up, then the Honor (G1), and finally the República Argentina (G1)—acid tests in the near schedule of a horse that is becoming unbeatable.
