The son of Il Campione faces off against Super Inter, Endor Rye, and Holy Holy Rim in the Haras Argentinos, which debuts its G3 status at Palermo

The Clásico Haras Argentinos will debut its G3 status with a must-watch edition this Friday at the Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo. Open to horses 3 years old and up over 2,000 meters, the race—which serves as a launching pad for the Palermo de Oro Championship—will feature only five participants, prioritizing quality over quantity.
Currently in top form, El Emporio faces his toughest challenge yet. The son of Il Campione has secured four consecutive victories here, a streak that includes the Clásico Carlos Gardel (L), Irineo Leguisamo (L), Mineral (L), and Ayacucho (G3)—the latter two contested over a mile and a half. The bay colt now drops back in distance to face the ageless Super Inter (Super Saver), who is once again performing at a high level.
At 7 years old with 11 first-place finishes under his belt, the chestnut recently defeated G1 winners El Exito (Il Campione) and Comando Secreto (War Command) in the Clásico Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires (L). He now seeks revenge against the favorite, whom he trailed in both the Gardel and the Leguisamo by 4 and 3 lengths, respectively.
Also on the list of confirmed entries is the consistent Endor Rye (Endorsement), the defending champion, having won the Haras Argentinos in 2025. Trained by Marcelo Degregorio, he boasts top-tier form, having finished third in the Gran Premio Dardo Rocha (G1) and later occupying the same spot in the Ayacucho. He has more than enough credentials to become a major threat to anyone in the field.
The bulletin continues with the presence of Holy Holy Rim (Remote), returning to the dirt after a forgettable performance in the Gran Premio Carlos Pellegrini (G1). On this surface, he was the hero of the Clásico Malvinas Argentinas (L) mid-season, a race where he finished ahead of Endor Rye.
Finally, the short roster of participants is completed by the battler Gadzooks (Galán de Cine), who has 41 races to his name and is always looking for an opportunity to pick up minor shares. Logic suggests he may struggle against the previously mentioned contenders.
