Emulating the dominance of their resident sire Il Campione (Scat Daddy), Haras El Paraíso has once again finished atop the Argentine National Breeders’ Standings. This marks the fourth consecutive season that the operation led by Victoria Pueyrredón and Pablo Duggan has claimed the title, further cementing their status as the country’s powerhouse nursery.

According to official Stud Book Argentino data, El Paraíso led the way in total earnings, individual winners, and total races won. The farm was particularly dominant on the dirt and in the Grade 1 category. However, Haras Firmamentomaintained its prestige by finishing as the leader in stakes victories and earnings on the turf.

El Paraíso amassed a staggering $2,562,927,700 in total purses, outpacing Firmamento’s $2,024,480,206. The two operations remained the undisputed titans of the industry throughout 2025. Haras La Pasión also posted a strong campaign, securing third place with $1,453,635,408 in earnings, followed by Abolengo ($1,154,668,969) and Vacación($1,154,668,969) to round out the top five.

In terms of total wins, El Paraíso was the clear leader with 327 victories compared to Firmamento’s 234, despite both operations sharing a nearly identical 14.3% strike rate. La Pasión enjoyed 188 trips to the winner’s circle, while Abolengo and Vacación recorded 138 and 126 wins, respectively.

El Paraíso’s depth was on full display, with 211 individual winners from 489 starters. Firmamento followed with 152 winners, while La Pasión (122), Abolengo (97), and Vacación (93) showcased their consistent output.

At the elite level, El Paraíso led the Grade 1 category with 6 scores, followed by Firmamento with 4. Triple Alliance SA(which operates out of the leader's farm) secured 3 G1 wins, while El Wing, Pozo de Luna, La Generación, La Pasión, Gran Muñeca, and Abolengo each tallied two top-level victories.

While El Paraíso took home the overall title, Firmamento’s performance in stakes company was superb. They topped the Stakes Wins category with 38 victories, edging out El Paraíso’s 35. Haras Gran Muñeca punched well above its weight class, securing 16 stakes wins with a significantly smaller foal crop. La Pasión (12), El Alfalfar (11), and Abolengo (11) completed the leaderboard.

As has become the trend in recent years, the battle for surface supremacy was split: El Paraíso ruled the dirt, while Firmamento reigned supreme on the turf.
