LA PLATA (Special for Turf Diario).- The selective process for 2-year-old colts will continue this Tuesday in the Bosque with the Clásico Criadores Argentinos del Sangre Pura de Carrera (L-1000 m, dirt), which had only 4 confirmed runners.

The black-type schedule for young horses in Argentina is saturated. Clearly, current horse racing does not tolerate 3 different tracks having their selection processes at the same time, forcing a rethinking that has been suggested for a long time from these pages, but has never been taken into account by the leadership, incapable of changing anything for the general benefit.

Thus, many of the classics in the division will lose weight and also category within the Cataloguing Standard, a circumstance that seems to matter absolutely to no one. Like so many things.

Of the 4 participants, 3 are prepared by Marcelo Sueldo, and among them stands out El Rayo Pass, chosen by Gonzalo Borda, the house jockey, who will try to give continuity to the formidable sequence of Stud Pauli.

The son of Distinctiv Passion has only one start in his campaign, defeating Nissos (Il Mercato) by just a nose, in a time of 59s46/100. A leap in level is expected from the bay, who must take maximum care against El Brigadier (Mask), with whom he will travel chatting in the same truck.

Runner-up to Fantoche Pass (Distinctiv Passion) when he debuted in the Especial Iniciación, he redeemed himself immediately, finishing 1 1/2 lengths ahead of Full Amalfitano (Full Mast) on heavy dirt.

Fantoche Pass himself will also be in the starting gates now, with his victory in the aforementioned Iniciación as his central credential. Certainly, he was superior that day, so it will not be a surprise if he finishes in front again.

The Marcelo Sueldo trio is completed by the bewildering Chichipío (Angiolo), capable of leaving a good impression by winning in his debut on the San Isidro turf, or finishing last 15 lengths behind Lebrón Blues (Le Blues) in the Clásico Guillermo Kemmis (G3) at Palermo.
