With Juan C. Rivarola aboard, the Winning Prize filly took a huge step forward in the Miguel Luis Morales (G2)

LA PLATA.- Elenika continues to prove there are no limits to her talent, making it look easy on Tuesday as she powered home in a long gallop to win the Clásico Miguel Luis Morales (G2-1600m, dirt), solidifying her status as the top filly of her generation.
Following her promising victories in the Clásico Andres S. Torres (G3) and Raúl Aristegui (G2), the Winning Prizefilly kicked off the second half of the season with a performance that left everyone in awe, cementing her position as the clear favorite for the upcoming Polla (G3), which marks the start of the Triple Crown.
Never before had the Hilda Juana colorbearer been so dominant. She made her six rivals look outclassed – despite the absence of unbeaten Mi Paisanita (Gouverneur Morris) – and this was no weak field given their previous credentials.
Rider Juan Cruz Rivarola bided his time aboard the Esteban Brown trainee as Castaña Pass (Distinctiv Passion) and Mis Locuras (Manipulator) set the pace through opening fractions of :25.64 and :49.10.
Around the turn, Rivarola asked Elenika for her run, shifting her into the clear in the three path and surging past Citadelle(Fortify), her main rival, putting the race to bed in an instant. Turning for home with a commanding lead, she coasted down the stretch to win by five lengths over Citadelle, with Mis Locuras another five lengths back in third. Final time was 1:39.92.
Bred by Haras La Fortaleza, Elenika is out of Electric Dancer (Editor's Note), a half-sister to Easter Flower (Ride the Rails), dam of G2 winner Esmeralda Nobleza (Halo Sunshine), from a powerful branch of the ‘E’ family.
Now with five wins from seven starts, including three graded stakes victories, Elenika stands firmly atop her crop and heads toward the key races of the selection process with sky-high confidence, ready to take on any challenge ahead.
