Now under the care of Gustavo Scarpello, the multiple graded stakes winner for Stud Hilda Juana will face tough rivals in the Handicap Miss Linda

With programs like this Wednesday's card at Hipódromo de San IsidroHacer clic para abrir el panel lateral y obtener más información, one shouldn't be surprised to hear that viewing numbers aren't holding up... Indeed, keeping audiences engaged becomes quite a challenge with such uninspiring options, or with cards flooded with races for aging horses offering little future promise.
Not to mention, of course, that scheduling races beyond 1,400 meters seems like a true miracle these days... Within this landscape, the lone feature on the card will be the Handicap Miss Linda, contested over 1,600 meters on the main track for fillies and mares aged 4 and up, honoring the champion conditioned by Roberto Bullrich in our country prior to her successful U.S. campaign.
A tight field of just six runners will line up, featuring several intriguing entries—led by Elenika, now under the care of Gustavo Scarpello at Training Track 2, who returns following a layoff of over three months carrying the top weight assignment of 59 kilos.
The daughter of Winning Prize has not raced since finishing sixth in the Clásico Joaquín V. Maqueda (G3), yet her overall record remains outstanding, highlighted by victories in the Polla de Potrancas (G2), Clásico Raúl Aristegui(G2), Clásico Miguel Luis Morales (G2), Clásico Andrés S. Torres (G3), and Clásico República Oriental del Uruguay (G3).
Elenika faces no easy task in her comeback, crossing paths with another standout filly from last season in Queen Elinor(Señor Candy, 56 1/2), winner of the Clásico Francisco J. Beazley (G2). She has not been seen since March, when she finished fourth in a condition race at Palermo following a six-month absence due to injury.
The combination of Stud Rubio B. and trainer Juan C. Etchechoury (h.) will send out Lysva (Gouverneur Morris, 54 1/2), a highly regarded mare with two wins from four career starts. She also makes her return here, having been sidelined since January after finishing fourth in the Clásico Apertura (G2).
Class Life (Fortify, 53 1/2) drops back to a far more manageable level after disappointing performances in both the Gran Premio Criadores (G1) and the Clásico Inés Victorica Roca (G3), though her core ability remains undisputed. Hidden Vision (Puerto Escondido) looks to bounce back to form, as does Bryana (Treasure Beach, 56 1/2)—with both seeking to claim the Trébol bonus.
