LA PLATA.- Speed takes center stage this Thursday at the Bosque circuit, headlined by the Clásico Federico Plowes, a 1,200-meter sprint on the dirt. Restricted to fillies and mares 3-years-old and upward under set weights, the race offers a modest purse of 6,190,000 pesos to the winner and has drawn a compact but competitive field of six runners.

The main attraction is the highly anticipated return of Emprestada (ARG). The daughter of Cosmic Trigger has been sidelined for 174 days, last seen delivering a dominant five-length victory in the Clásico Eusonio C. Boni (L) during her local debut. While her talent is undisputed, the long layoff poses a significant question mark for the Nicolás Martín Ferro trainee.

She faces a formidable challenge in Qué Buena B. (ARG). The Qué Vida Buena mare arrives at the peak of her form following a career-best victory in the Clásico Arturo A. Bullrich (G3), where she bested local division leaders La Meninha and Calle de Tierra.

Rounding out the primary contenders are Nashville Blue (ARG), coming off a solid third-place effort in handicap company, and the Strategos filly Centinela del Mar (ARG), who seeks redemption after a disappointing fifth-place finish on the Palermo turf following two consecutive conditional wins.
