In a match with Emm Yugo, the colt from Stud Pauli won by a nose in the Clásico Full Sail

LA PLATA.— Encantador Pass returned to the racecourse of this city and did his job, although it demanded a bit more than expected to secure the Clásico Full Sail (1000 m, normal dirt), the first of the two stakes races that shaped a fairly entertaining program.
It was an exciting head-to-head battle between the heavy favorite and Emm Yugo (Emmanuel), who was returning to the stakes level after some solid efforts in conditional races. The latter challenged the Stud Pauli colt every second of the way, but Encantador Pass, displaying immense courage, held him off until crossing the wire ahead. The photo finish showed just a nose between them, with Redentor Scat (Knockout) completing the trifecta 3/4 of a length back, all in an excellent time of 59s8/100, following fractions of 24s32/100 and 47s5/100.
Prepared by Marcelo Sueldo and with Gonzalo Borda in the irons, this marked the third stakes victory for Encantador Pass, his sixth win overall and his fourth in top-level company, as he also prevailed in the Handicap Phoenix on the San Isidro dirt.
Out of the dual G3 winner La Agradable Key (Key Deputy), and hailing from a maternal family that produced high-level performers such as G1 winners Qué Piensa Cat (Easing Along) and Temuno (Tempranero), among others, Encantador Pass continues to write his own history in the La Plata sprint division.
