The son of Endorsement looks set to be the standout of the afternoon at Palermo, in a particularly appealing edition of the traditional Listed race that brings together proven class, rising stars, and the return of major names

Top-class racing—and plenty of it—will take center stage this afternoon at Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo, both on the undercard and at the stakes level. The highlight, without question, will be the must-watch Clásico Malvinas Argentinas (L), a 2000-meter test on the dirt for 3-year-olds and up that serves as a kind of continuation—albeit a rung below—of the prestigious Campeonato Palermo de Oro.
A field of eight is set to go, with plenty of quality in the lineup, led by Endor Rye (Endorsement), who is thriving both in the mornings and in the afternoons and aiming to punch his ticket to the Estrellas Classic (G1). Trained by Marcelo Degregorio, the dark bay has become a consistent player in the division, capturing both the Clásico Ayacucho (G3) and Clásico Haras Argentinos (L), before finishing runner-up in the Otoño (G2), fourth in the Honor (G1), and third in the República Argentina (G1).
Endor Rye will have to contend with a sharp rival in Super Inter (Super Saver), who returns to action for the first time since finishing third in the aforementioned Haras Argentinos back in January. The seasoned campaigner had previously rattled off three straight stakes wins in the Carlos Gardel (L), Irineo Leguisamo (L), and Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires (L).
Much less experienced but full of promise is Holy Holy Rim (Remote), who takes a big step up from the allowance ranks. After finishing second on debut, he comes in off back-to-back wins, the latest over the same conditions he’ll face here and defeating Davalos (Hi Happy), who returned to score impressively in his next start.
Mister Coquette (Bodemeister) won’t make things easy. A Listed winner over the turf in the Clásico Regimiento de Granaderos a Caballo, he was a narrowly beaten runner-up in the Handicap Atlas, finishing just a head behind Rammel (Fortify).
Valle Barún (Vástago Salvaje), Tambaqui (True Cause) and Jardín Secreto (Endorsement) will try to spring the upset, while for Gadzooks (Galán de Cine), the task looks significantly steeper.
