The generous filly racing for Stud Rodolfo Pedro dug deep to defeat the betting favorite by a head, successfully returning to the winner's circle

Enjoy Dancing is like the sun: she always rises. It doesn't matter if she enters a race in peak form or off a disappointing performance; when she is on her game and displays her finest version, she is capable of conquering any field.

In what has become a defining trademark over her extensive and highly successful career, the daughter of Hi Happypulled off yet another brilliant performance. This time, she captured the Clásico Producción Nacional (L), a 1,000-meter sprint on the turf track, denying Forever Rim (Remote) a back-to-back victory in a thrilling finish. The achievement came during a racing card that featured a special adjusted schedule—running from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.—to accommodate fans ahead of the Argentine National Team's match in the World Cup.

Masterfully ridden by jockey Kevin Banegas, the Stud Rodolfo Pedro color-bearer—who had finished fourth in this very event 12 months ago—shook off a four-race dry spell where she had lacked her usual spark. In doing so, she wore down a formidable betting favorite who now reluctantly adds a fourth consecutive runner-up finish to her record.

Carrying 58 kilos, one of the highest assignments in the field, Enjoy Dancing stuck to her preferred patient tactics, even after enduring some bumping at the break that relegated her to the back of the pack. Up front, Eleven Mile (Il Campione) set a blistering pace, closely tracked by White Lotus (Daddy Long Legs) and Tormenta China (Malenchini).

The complexion of the race changed completely passing the 400-meter pole. As the early pacesetters began to fade, Forever Rim launched a strong outside bid and appeared poised to reward her many backers. However, staying firmly anchored down the center of the track, Enjoy Dancing unleashed a devastating turn of foot, collaring the Haras Firmamento homebred shadow-of-the-wire to secure a head victory. Verdadera Pass (Distinctiv Passion) finished three lengths back in third, with the winner stopping the clock in a sharp 57s64/100 over the firm turf.

Bred by Haras Vacación and trained by the veteran Edgardo Martucci—officially saddled by his son, Edgardo Pablo—Enjoy Dancing celebrated her seventh career victory from 33 lifetime starts. This triumph marks her fourth stakes trophy, adding to an impressive resume that already features victories in the Clásico Olavarría (G3), the Clásico General Francisco B. Bosch (G3), and the Clásico Islas Malvinas (L), alongside a score in the Handicap Fitzcarraldo and numerous high-profile graded placings.
