This Friday, the Hipódromo de San Isidro will feature a highly anticipated program highlighted by three key stakes: the Ensayo (G3-1800 m, turf), the Engrillado (2000 m, turf), and the Marina Lezcano (1600 m, turf).

The Ensayo, a prep for the Gran Premio Jockey Club (G1)—the second leg of Argentina’s Triple Crown—draws 11 probable entries. Ardiendo (Remote), winner of the Gran Criterium (G1) and runner-up in the 2000 Guineas (G1), leads the list. The main protagonists include Vundu (Suggestive Boy), winner of the Clásico PotrillónHonest Boy (Heliostatic), fresh from his Gran Premio 25 de Mayo (G1) triumph, and Qué Tarde Gris (Il Campione), victor of the Clásico 9 de Julio (G2). Maximum impost of 61 1/2 kg falls on Kelly Rose (Il Campione), slightly above Candlelit (Equal Stripes), while Aiyanna (Santillano) carries 60 1/2 kg.
