The Clásico Cocles (L) and the Clásico Necochea (L) will take place on Friday, July 17, while the Handicap Gendarmería Nacional Argentina will headline the card on Wednesday, July 22

San Isidro officials confirmed on Tuesday the next two racing programs scheduled at the northern venue, featuring cards on Friday, July 17, and Wednesday, July 22, anchored by a solid slate of stakes.
The Friday card will be highlighted by the Clásico Cocles (L-2400m, turf) and the Clásico Necochea (L-1000m, turf), both handicap events for four-year-olds and upward serving as crucial stepping stones for stayers and sprinters targeting the most prestigious phases of the season.
A field of 12 has been assembled for the Clásico Cocles, where the high weight of 59 kilos has been assigned to Quality Boy (Asiatic Boy). Looking to derail the top weight are Amuni (Tetaze, 57.5 kg), Buen Escosés (Bodemeister, 57 kg), Cornwall (Remote, 58.5 kg), Don Logrado (Fortify, 54.5 kg), Fruit Hunter (Global Hunter, 53.5 kg), Gadzooks(Galán de Cine, 54 kg), Ivanel (Pataqués, 52.5 kg), Jazminero Azul (Lucullan, 53.5 kg), Maestro de Fe (Master of Hounds, 54 kg), Playa Chopera (Treasure Beach, 50 kg), and Saphirus Blue (Daniel Boone, 55.5 kg).
Defections were more significant in the sprint feature, leaving a field of nine confirmed runners in the Clásico Necochea. Bailarín de Venecia (Angiolo) will carry the demanding high weight of 60.5 kilos but will face a stern test against formidable rivals like Land of Promise (Le Blues, 60 kg), Camuflaje (Orpen, 59.5 kg), Coraje Gaucho (Lenovo, 59.5 kg), and Martinique (Señor Candy, 59 kg). Completing the lineup are Altamiro (Santillano, 54.5 kg), Contra Pronóstico (Daddy Long Legs, 57.5 kg), El Romancero (Il Campione, 52.5 kg), and Gracias Gringo (Touareg, 53 kg).
Action shifts to Wednesday for the Handicap Gendarmería Nacional Argentina, a 1400-meter dirt contest for four-year-olds and upward. Although 16 horses were originally nominated, the final field was heavily depleted, leaving just seven confirmed starters.
Despite the scratch of top-weighted Hit Rouge (Hit It a Bomb, 60 kg), the handicap remains highly competitive with the confirmed participation of Yak Sport (Glory Seattle, 59 kg), Tiffony Mo (El Moisés, 58.5 kg), and Don Zahir (Daddy Long Legs, 58 kg). Bitter Orange (Cosmic Trigger, 57 kg), Bombay Lake (Anjiz Lake, 55.5 kg), Stormy River (Le Blues, 54.5 kg), and The Great Jazz (The Great Day, 55 kg) round out the field and will line up at the starting gates when the action begins.
