Fallow Remates Celebrates Its 25th Anniversary with Its Anniversary Sale at the Tattersall Solís

The company led by Arturo Moscón will experience a special milestone this Thursday, courtesy of an auction featuring yearlings from the 2024 generation

For Arturo Moscón and the entire team at Fallow Remates, Thursday, June 11th, will not be just another day, but one to remember. The firm celebrates its 25th anniversary and will mark the occasion with its Great Anniversary Sale at the Tattersall Solís facilities, located at kilometer 98.5 of National Route 8.

Throughout this time, numerous benchmark horses have passed under the hammer of the company, whose name honors an unforgettable mare in the history of national racing. If proof is needed, the names of Idolo Porteño (Jump Start), Expressive Halo (Halo Sunshine), Logrado (Manipulator), Eragon (Offlee Wild), Galicado (Asiatic Boy), El Fanfante (Missionary), and Paulinho (Equal Stripes) speak for themselves...

The auction, which will kick off at 2:00 p.m. following a celebratory luncheon, will feature several breeders who have supported Fallow Remates throughout this quarter-century. Yearlings will be offered from Haras La Valkiria, Haras Las Retamas, Haras Embrujo, Haras La Nora, Haras Don Yayo, Haras Nycsi, Haras El Wing, Haras Pueyrredón, Haras Santa María de Araras, Haras Caryjuan, Haras Avourneen, Haras El Paraíso, Haras La Esperanza, and Haras La Magdalena.

The catalog is comprised of progeny by well-known stallions such as Cosmic Trigger (Lizard Island), Mask (Tapit), Fortify (Distorted Humor), Hi Happy (Pure Prize), Cityscape (Selkirk), Remote (Dansili), Qué Vida Buena(Bernstein), Treasure Beach (Galileo), Gouverneur Morris (Constitution), Dabster (Curlin), Il Campione (Scat Daddy), Señor Candy (Candy Ride), and Daniel Boone (Wild Event), as well as representatives from the initial crops of Mutasaabeq (Into Mischief), Luthier Blues (Le Blues), Dr. Post (Quality Road), Satono Flag (Deep Impact), and Don Empeño (Exchange Rate).

Among the highlights crossing the ring will be Pimpa (Cosmic Trigger), the first foal out of the G2 winner Michelica(Hurricane Cat), consigned by Haras NYCSI—the same farm that will also offer Hi Montesa (Hi Happy), whose dam is the multiple graded stakes winner Montesana Rye (Catcher In the Rye).

El Wing, meanwhile, will offer Living On the Edge (Dabster), out of the stakes-placed mare Live (Pure Prize) and a maternal half-brother to stakes winner Kohinoor (Cima de Triomphe). Another strong name is Purple Haze (Fortifyout of Stormy Night, by Bernstein), a maternal half-brother to Guicciardini (Galicado), Night Time Inc (Include), and Joy Antumalal (Il Campione).
