With the champion leading the way and Raging Torrent joining the roster, the farm unveiled its powerful 2026 stallion lineup, confirming a brilliant present. Candy Ride will stand again for $60,000

LEXINGTON, Kentucky (Special for Turf Diario).- Flightline (Tapit) will once again headline the Lane’s End Farm roster, as the operation announced its stallion lineup and fees for the 2026 breeding season. The unbeaten 2022 Horse of the Year will stand for $125,000.
Now a year and a half into his stud career, Flightline’s first yearlings have created a sensation in the sales ring, averaging $724,038 in North America as of Oct. 14, with 10 seven-figure sellers, including a filly that brought $2.2 million at the Keeneland September Sale.
Among the highlights of the updated roster is the addition of Raging Torrent (Maximus Mischief), a multiple Grade Iwinner who will stand his first season for $15,000. The 4-year-old dark bay captured the Malibu S. (G1) in 2024 and returned this year with a dominant victory in the Metropolitan H. (G1) after taking the Godolphin Mile (G2) at Meydan.
A suspensory injury forced his retirement in July, just weeks after a convincing 2 1/2-length win over Fierceness (City of Light) in the Met Mile. A son of Violent Wave (Violence) and a half-brother to graded winner The Nth Degree(Distorted Humor), Raging Torrent brings both strong race credentials and an excellent female family to Lane’s End.
“2025 was an exceptional year for our roster,” said Bill Farish of Lane’s End. “Liam’s Map and Twirling Candy each produced three Grade I winners, while Flightline’s first crop of yearlings was a runaway success, topped by a filly who became the year’s highest-priced sale. With the addition of Raging Torrent, 2026 promises to be another exciting season.”
Liam’s Map (Unbridled’s Song), now 14, will see his fee rise to $50,000 following a banner year for his progeny, led by Deterministic (winner of the Manhattan S. and G1 Fourstardave), Burnham Square (G1 Blue Grass S.) and Napoleon Solo (G1 Champagne S.).
Meanwhile, Twirling Candy (Candy Ride), at 18, also receives an increase to $75,000 after siring seven graded winners in 2025, including Ag Bullet (G1 Jaipur S.), Fionn (G1 Belmont Oaks) and Kilwin (G1 Test S.). With over $13.8 million in progeny earnings this year, he currently ranks fourth among all U.S. sires.
A top son of Candy Ride, Twirling Candy shares the spotlight with elite representatives of that line such as Gun Runner and Vekoma, both commanding six-figure fees. For his part, Candy Ride will continue to stand for $60,000.
Veteran sire Quality Road (Elusive Quality), now 19, will remain a key presence at the farm, with his fee set at $100,000, adjusted from $150,000 earlier in the year. He has already sired five graded winners in 2025, including Clicquot (G1 Cotillion S.) and Hope Road (G1 Ballerina S.).
With Flightline leading the way and a deep roster of elite stallions behind him, Lane’s End reaffirms its standing as one of the most influential breeding operations in the Northern Hemisphere.
