The first two will be contested Saturday over the San Isidro turf course, while the latter is scheduled for Friday on the dirt at Palermo

A busy week of stakes action is on tap at Argentina's major racetracks, with San Isidro set to host the most prestigious events on the schedule.
Next Saturday, the track will stage the Forli (G2) over 1800 meters on turf and the Pippermint (G2) over 1400 meters on turf, both for horses three and up and both attracting several notable names.
Eight horses were entered for the Forli, headed by Group 1 winners Vundu (Suggestive Boy) and Thor Medina (Mootasadir), the latter looking to rebound from a disappointing effort in the Gran Premio Latinoamericano (G1) at Monterrico in Peru.
Also nominated are Albuquerque (Orpen), El Triplo (Mask), Hit Colchonero (Hit It a Bomb), Purple Nich (Nicholas), Silver Ya (Winning Prize), and Viejo Varieté (Qué Vida Buena).
The Pippermint drew a much larger group of 15 possible starters, including top-level winners Bronx (Qué Vida Buena) and Gardel Pass (Distinctiv Passion), the resurgent Particulado (Mask), and Escape Room (Il Campione), recently runner-up to Drive Joy (Fortify) in the Gran Premio de las Américas-OSAF (G1).
The remainder of the nominations are Approval Cat (Endorsement), Avivador (Alcindor), Cosmic Stripes (Cosmic Trigger), Don Griego (Long Island Sound), El Gazpacho (Bodemeister), Envidioso Frank (Gidu), Liberto (Hurricane Cat), Majority Wins (Master of Hounds), Nuestro (Leofric), Río New (Hurricane Cat), and Vulcano (Daniel Boone).
At Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo, the feature event of the week will be run Friday, June 5, when fillies and mares take center stage in the República de Panamá (G3) over 1000 meters.
The winner will earn a purse of Ps. 12,600,000.
Lissette Island (Lizard Island) will attempt to extend her excellent form against A La Vista (Angiolo), Bantia (John F. Kennedy), Enjoy Dancing (Hi Happy), Forever You (Full Mast), Free Prize (Winning Prize), Jugadoraza (Winning Prize), La Bella Otero (Daddy Long Legs), La Farce (Emmanuel), and Máxima Risk (Security Risk).
Final declarations are due by noon on Tuesday, with the official fields, race schedule, and surviving entries to be announced later that afternoon.
