LIMA, Perú (Special for Turf Diario).- The streak of Argentine victories at Monterrico Racecourse shows no signs of slowing down, once again featuring the silks of Stud Jet Set and trainer Juan Suárez, who continue to enjoy a sensational run of form in Peruvian racing. In a flawless weekend, Fidenzia and Gaza Strip each added new black-type wins to their records, underscoring both the high quality of Argentine-bred runners and the remarkable consistency of this formidable partnership.

On Saturday, Fidenzia (Hurricane CatFungosa, by Roy), bred by Haras Vacación, turned in a commanding front-running performance to take the Clásico Lady Shatzi–Gonzalo de la Puente y Lavalle, a weight-for-age event for fillies and mares over 1800 meters on turf. Perfectly handled by Carlos Trujillo and presented in peak condition by Suárez, she secured her fourth win from nine starts, stopping the clock in 1:52.81, after fractions of 25.8749.751:15.21, and 1:40.13.

Fidenzia dictated terms throughout and had enough left to fend off the late challenge of Espartana (Air Force Blue), who finished three-quarters of a length behind. Kadeisha (Editorial) checked in third, 5 1/4 lengths adrift, with the favorite Forty Estrella (Fortify) in fourth.

The story repeated itself the following day in the Clásico Marina de Guerra del Perú, a weight-for-age mile for all comers, as Gaza Strip (Hi HappyGaza Moon, by Easing Along), bred by Haras Santa Inés, carried the Jet Set colors to another wire-to-wire victory under José Reyes, sealing yet another polished performance from the Suárez barn.

The daughter of Argentine champion Hi Happy was always in control and held off her stablemate Marcelito El Grande(Suggestive Boy) by half a length to complete an emphatic Argentine 1–2. Golito (Muwaary) finished third, a length back, while Marc Spacial (Marconi) rounded out the superfecta, 1 1/2 lengths farther away. The stewards ultimately dismissed objections lodged by the riders of the runners-up.

With Fidenzia and Gaza Strip both thriving, Stud Jet Set and Juan Suárez continue to dominate the Peruvian scene, reinforcing the growing influence of Argentine breeding and horsemanship across South America.
