Another unsettled afternoon is expected weather-wise at San Isidro, with the dirt training track still affected by the rains that fell since early Sunday morning. Against that backdrop, a 13-race card will unfold this Tuesday, headlined by the Handicap Wally, set at 1300 meters for fillies and mares 4 and up, and offering a modest purse of 5,000,000 pesos to the winner.

Scheduled to go off at 4:45 p.m., the feature has Kelly Rose (Il Campione) as the clear standout, even though she has been assigned a demanding impost of 61.5 kilos—a weight that looks excessive for a mare whose résumé includes a single win at this level and a couple of graded placings, especially considering that even proven stakes winners often shoulder less under similar conditions.

The gray filly, who will be chasing a second Trébol bonus after earning one in her latest start, comes off a decisive 3 1/2-length score in the Handicap Academia Nacional de Agronomía y Veterinaria under identical conditions, with Guadilu (Señor Candy, 54.5 kilos)—the runner-up that day—once again among her opponents.

Perhaps the toughest hurdle for the favorite will be Joy Traviesa (Fortify, 54.5), a pupil of Enrique Martín Ferro who is also eligible for the Trébol. Winner of two of her last three starts, she was last seen drawing off by six lengths from Beauty and Kind (Long Island Sound) on turf, and now steps up in class while aiming to extend her hot streak.

Other interesting contenders include Rumba Feroz (Hurricane Cat, 53.5), who registered her third victory last time at Palermo when defeating the useful Splash Park (Safety Check), and Cold Mind (Lucullan, 54), a former graded winner as a juvenile who recently returned to winning ways.

Che Solita (Zensational, 53) has been holding her own in the alternate circuit and could spring a surprise, while the La Pampa-based Ana de Armas (Angiolo, 52) makes the trip with ambitions of her own.
