A fine afternoon of racing awaits this Sunday at Hipódromo de San Isidro, with the turf course taking center stage anchored by the Clásico Marina Lezcano (1400m, turf). The race marks an important continuation of the juvenile fillies' turf route, serving as a key stepping stone toward the Clásico Federico de Alvear(G2) and the Gran Premio Enrique Acebal (G1).

A field of seven will face the starter, with Gota Clara Sos (Made You Look) standing out as the lone entrant boasting established stakes class. Her six rivals all enter off single conditional victories looking to make the leap into black-type territory.

On past form alone, the Stud Pauli representative holds a clear class edge over the field. A multiple stakes winner—highlighted by her victory in the Clásico Eliseo Ramírez (G2)—she briefly lost her footing when unplaced in the Carreras de las Estrellas Juvenile Fillies (G1).

The chestnut filly subsequently took a step down in class but suffered a tough trip in the Clásico Bayakoa (L) over a mile, managing a mild third-place finish, 3 1/2 lengths behind Hi Intense (Hi Happy). Now, trainer connections opt for a slight cutback in distance to rebuild her confidence and regain her winning momentum.

However, the task will be far from a walkover for Gota Clara Sos. Boasting two wins from three lifetime starts, La Santa Cándida (Le Blues) makes her stakes debut coming off an authoritative 3-length score over Emita Sagital(Emmanuel). That performance came after surrendering her unbeaten record against colts when finishing behind Nissos (Il Mercato) and eventual stakes winner Cadiz (Strategos). Extending to 1400 meters presents her primary question mark.

Another runner who made a lasting impression in her maiden victory was Carismática (Strategos), who drew off to win by 5 lengths over 1200 meters, suggesting the extra furlong will be well within her reach.

Following a successful unofficial debut at Azul, Black Win (Winning Prize) managed to replicate that performance on the main track at San Isidro, scoring by a narrow margin while displaying plenty of heart in the closing stages.

Brazilian-bred Risk Free (Outstrip) needed her debut experience to learn the ropes but wasted no time breaking her maiden in her next start over a mile against Italia (Daddy Long Legs). In her case, she cuts back slightly in trip.

Completing the lineup is Kona Ice (Treasure Beach), the other undefeated runner in the field, who caught the eye with a convincing performance when shedding her maiden status last time out.
