Following a strong campaign at La Plata, the daughter of Made You Look shined in her debut over the San Isidro turf

Mirroring the events of the Clásico Raúl y Raúl E. Chevalier (G2) held earlier in the day, the fillies also contested one of the least attractive renewals in the history of the Clásico Eliseo Ramírez (G2), the first major trophy of the selection process at San Isidro.
Following the late scratch of Marynda (Master of Hounds), only five runners went to the post. Ultimately, the class of Gota Clara Sos prevailed. After dominating the stakes circuit at La Plata, she made a seamless transition to a new track and surface, relying on her superior experience and pedigree.
In truth, it did not take much effort for the Stud Pauli representative to finish in front, defeating Deep Feeling (Seahenge) by 1 1/2 lengths. The latter held on by a neck for third over Sally Ride (Señor Candy), while the favorite Full Question (Full Mast) finished a distant fourth, and Risitas Pass (Distinctiv Passion) trailed the field after setting the early pace.
Gonzalo Borda rode the Marcelo Sueldo trainee with immense patience, only allowing her to move freely in the homestretch, confident the chestnut would respond when the real running began. Once in command, there were no concerns for Gota Clara Sos, who resolved the race with professional ease. Her path forward now leads toward the Gran Premio de Potrancas (G1) and the Estrellas Juvenile (G1), though she remains entered to run this Tuesday in the Clásico Fortunato Damiani (G3) at La Plata.
While Full Question performed below expectations, Haras Gran Muñeca found consolation in seeing a filly bred in their paddocks succeed. The victory further validates the strong start for sire Made You Look, a son of More Than Ready continuing the Southern Halo sire line. Out of Gota Clara Key (Key Deputy), Gota Clara Sos is now a perfect 4-for-4, establishing herself as a leader in both the local and provincial juvenile divisions.
