The virtual sale is scheduled for this Tuesday at 7 p.m., featuring siblings to Una Arrablera, Tooru, Miss Oasis, and more

Fresh off a sensational victory by Need You Tonight (Hat Ninja) in the G1 Gran Premio República Argentina, Haras El Wing heads into its upcoming virtual yearling sale with momentum at full gallop. The event, set for Tuesday at 7 p.m. (local time), will feature a select offering of 24 yearlings and include additional lots from Orilla del Monte, Wilgerbosdrift, and Chemeco.
The powerful win by Need You Tonight, bred by El Wing and trained by Pablo Sahagián, could hardly have provided a better endorsement of the program at Endrigo Gennoni’s General Rodríguez-based operation. Just days later, another homebred, Tooru (Lizard Island), nearly added more black-type to the farm’s résumé, finishing a close second in Sunday’s G3 Clásico Southern Halo at San Isidro.
The catalogue boasts yearlings by a diverse lineup of sires, including Il Campione (Scat Daddy), Dabster (Curlin), Cityscape (Selkirk), Treasure Beach (Galileo), Full Mast (Mizzen Mast), Mootasadir (Dansili), Lucullan (Hard Spun), Cima de Triomphe (Galileo), Lizard Island (Danehill Dancer), Homage (War Front), Il Mercato (Not for Sale), Roman Joy (Fortify), and Gershwin (Distorted Humor).
Among the highlights is A Bailar (Cima de Triomphe—Lucinda Halo, by Southern Halo), a full sister to dual G1 winner and champion Una Arrabalera, heroine of the G1 Polla de Potrancas and G1 Selección, and to stakes winner Lucy May.
Another standout offering is Tamiko (Lizard Island—Of Roof, by Cima de Triomphe), a full sister to the aforementioned Tooru, a six-time stakes winner and one of the most consistent sprinters in training.
Macho de la Paternal (Il Campione—Miss Tessi, by Orpen) is a maternal sibling to G2 winner Miss Oasis (Pure Prize) and stakes scorer Mr. Tessio (Pure Prize), while Lady Ella (Il Campione) is the first foal out of stakes winner Jazz Bass, who captured the Especial Provincias Unidas and the Handicap Marina Lezcano.
Other notable lots include Personal Filly (Dabster), the second foal out of G2 winner Pure Doris, and Millonaire(Dabster), a full brother to stakes winner Es Mío and stakes-placed Gran Porteñito, both offered by Wilgerbosdrift.
With a deep, diverse catalog and recent G1 success to back it, Tuesday's virtual auction promises to be one of the most anticipated events of the Argentine sales season.
