Haras La Nora will slightly reduce its stock and is offering this Tuesday daughters of Candy Ride, Orpen, Uncle Mo, Kitten's Joy, Easing Along, etc.; it will be in a virtual format, starting at 6:00 p.m., with Racehorse handling the auction
The auction firm Racehorse opens its season this Tuesday with the highly interesting Haras La Nora Broodmare Sale, the stud farm owned by Silvestre Blousson. Under an online format, the event will begin at 6:00 p.m., offering a high-quality lot and excellent conditions.
In total, 33 broodmares will go under the hammer of Sebastián and Lucila Di Nucci, including daughters of Candy Ride, Orpen, Uncle Mo, Easing Along, Kitten's Joy, Key Deputy, English Channel, Lizard Island, Wild Event, Fortify, Hurricane Cat, etc., in foal to Gouverneur Morris, Mutasaabeq, and Dr. Post. It is worth noting that empty mares are all offered with a right of service to these same stallions.
Buyers will benefit from a 20 percent discount for cash payments; 12 installments for those paying with checks, up to 6 without checks, and the auctioneer's commission will be covered by the seller.
In the catalogue breakdown, several mothers are particularly attractive, featuring an exciting mix of national and international genetics. For example, by Candy Ride is Bossy Becky, in foal to Gouverneur Morris and featuring the notable Fantastic Find as third dam, from an iconic Phipps family.
Among the most sought-after will surely be Everquest (Asiatic Boy), who has already produced G1 winner Mama Nancy and Siesta—who finished third on Saturday in the Clásico Saturnino J. Unzué (G2)—carrying a Dr. Post foal.
