ARRUFO, Santa Fe (Special for Turf Diario).- A major celebration of thoroughbred racing will take place this Friday at 9:00 PM in a small town in northern Santa Fe, as Haras Tradición holds its 4th Gran Remate de SPC, offering its entire 2023 crop, with Haras La Valquiria, El Chañar, and La Numacnia joining as guest consignors.

The evening promises camaraderie and hospitality, led by Raúl Berteros at the helm of a true family enterprise that has already achieved remarkable success on the racetrack, boasting an exceptionally high percentage of winners from runners.

The sale ring will feature offspring of well-known sires such as Gouverneur Morris (Constitution), Angiolo (Grand Reward), Manipulator (Unbridled), Lucullan (Hard Spun), Safety Check (Dubawi), Treasure Beach (Galileo), Winning Prize (Pure Prize), Hit It a Bomb (War Front), Emperor Richard (Southern Halo), Imperador (Treasure Beach), Lizard Island (Danehill Dancer), Qué Vida Buena (Bernstein), and Touareg (Easing Along), all to go through the ring amid smiles, a gourmet dinner, and entertainment throughout the night.

Several lots are expected to attract strong interest, including Papi Chulo (Hit It a Bomb), the first foal of Qué Chula (Endorsement), who won the Handicap Rico and finished second in the Clásico Hipódromo de Rosario (G3). The mare is a half-sister to G3 El Billarista (El Corredor) and hails from the family of G1 Repartija (Tempranero) and Qué Puntual (Contested Bid).

Medalla de Honor (Safety Check) is a full sister to the accomplished Safety Honour, a nine-time winner with a recent stakes victory. Hit Chapel (Hit It a Bomb) is the second foal of the remarkable White Chapel (Not for Sale), who compiled 12 career wins on the track.

Gouverneur Morris continues to be a standout both on the track and in the sales ring. This Friday, one of his daughters, Risa Única, granddaughter of G1 Rica Roy (Roy), will be offered.

Soy de Tradición (Lizard Island) is out of G3 Mi Vigía (Storm Surge), dam of stakes winners Señor Dan (Señor Candy) and Ramses (Manipulator), while Vibra La Vida (Qué Vida Buena) is a maternal sister to dual handicap winner and stakes-placed Demostrame (Endorsement).

From El Chañar, the sale will feature Incumplida (Imperador), a maternal sister to Indian Emperor (Emperor Jones), winner of the Handicap Elías Antúnez, while La Valquiria contributes Juana Donovan (Safety Check), a granddaughter of G1 Taboo (Ringaro).

The stage is set for a warm and festive evening this Friday at Haras Tradición, with the Berteros family as hosts and a showcase of top thoroughbreds. What more could one ask for?
