Haras Vacación's Annual Broodmare Sale set for this Sunday

A total of 35 broodmares will head to the digital auction block, with a catalog highlighted by daughters of Fortify, Equal Stripes, and Roman Ruler

Starting at 6:00 PM this Sunday, Haras Vacación will host its Annual Broodmare Sale. Conducted by (Arg) Sales, the auction will be held exclusively online and features a high-quality selection of 35 mares from one of South America’s most prestigious nurseries.

The catalog boasts a deep roster of pedigrees, featuring daughters of Fortify, Roman Ruler, Equal Stripes, Remote, and Señor Candy, among others. The mares are offered in-foal to an elite group of stallions including Fortify, Hi Happy, Cityscape, and the classic-winning Imperador.

Highlighting the session is Ilusionaria (Roman Ruler), a winner at San Isidro and the dam of stakes winner Señor Importante. Selling as Hip 1, she is offered in-foal to the perennially successful Fortify. A full sister to G1 Jockey Club winner Imagen de Roma, she hails from the illustrious family of Fitzcarraldo.

Pedigree enthusiasts will also eye Stormy Nippy, a daughter of Bernstein and the foundational mare Nipona, offered in-foal to Cityscape. Other notable entries include Killing Eve, a daughter of G1 winner Kali Baby; Rubelia, a half-sister to G1 winner Rammel; and Elmira, the dam of stakes winner El Emirato.
