The daughter of Mask, one of the standout fillies of 2025, faces a dangerous group of rivals over the dirt

Believe it or not, dear reader, there will be only one alternate-level race this Wednesday at Hipódromo de San Isidro.

Benefiting from several races moved from Monday’s card, today’s program will feature a considerably stronger level than usual, highlighted by the Clásico Vale Dori.

Scheduled over 1200 meters on the dirt for fillies and mares 3-years-old and up under handicap conditions, the race gathered 11 confirmed runners and includes several interesting names, among them Amonet.

Winner of the Clásico Empiric and also runner-up in the Clásico Melgarejo (L) after narrowly falling to graded performers Dream Serena (Forge) and Lessons of Life (Le Blues), the daughter of Mask recently returned from a lengthy layoff with a head second behind Cara Romana (The Great Day) and now appears ideally positioned to return to winning form.

Still, the task will be anything but easy, because dangerous rivals abound.

Among them stands White Lotus (Daddy Long Legs), another 3-year-old filly who most recently captured an allowance race impressively in the straight course at Palermo and now tries around a turn for the first time.

Another major threat is Naimabad (Il Campione), whose confidence soared after defeating males in the Clásico Eduardo Jara, elevating her level considerably following several inconsistent performances.

Shipping in from La Plata with serious intentions is Beauty Check (Safety Check), who was caught very close to the wire by Qué Buena B (Qué Vida Buena) when second in the Clásico Curtida Nistel, finishing ahead of horses such as Tac-Tac (Manipulator).

Arriving from softer company but carrying strong ambitions are The New Star (Lenovo) and Isolation (Suggestive Boy).

Meanwhile, hoping to rediscover better form are Legítima Blan (Equal Legítimo), Verdadera Pass (Distinctiv Passion), Arkansas City (Angiolo), and Starry Bomb (Hit It a Bomb).

Eneta (Fortify) completes a field that promises a highly entertaining contest.
