Daughter of Forge Eyes Breakthrough Win Against Tough Company

LA PLATA.- Racing shifts Tuesday to La Plata’s “Bosque,” where just 10 races could be carded, headlined by the Clásico México(2000m, dirt), a weight-for-age test for fillies and mares three years old and up.
Trained by Angel Piana, Her Immunity looms large as the one to beat, looking to solidify an unbeaten record over the local surface while stepping up for her first major score. The daughter of Forge turned in a sharp performance last time out at Palermo, drawing clear by 5 lengths over Risible (Orpen), who came back last Saturday to romp by 15.
Set to be ridden this time by Jorge Peralta, Her Immunity will face a handful of tricky rivals, including the improving sophomore Rebecca Hi (Hi Happy), who appears poised for further progress. After breaking her maiden by 6 lengths, she has since posted back-to-back runner-up efforts, the latest when just a half-length shy of Candy Fy (Fortify) in the Clásico Jockey Club del Perú.
Rebecca Hi had previously chased home Shericka (Seize), beaten 5 lengths that day, and that rival returns here looking to reassert herself. Also in the mix is Flavie (Seahenge), whose most recent outing is best forgiven in light of her earlier efforts.
Rounding out the field are Santa Se (Security Risk) and La Más Pura (Aspire).
