In a duel between daughters of Puerto Escondido, she defeated Sia by half a neck and, in the process, captured the Trébol bonus

Two daughters of the champion Puerto Escondido decided the Handicap Rafale (1600 m, wet dirt), the featured race of Wednesday's card at the San Isidro Racetrack. Coming off 2 consecutive victories in the alternative category, Hidden Vision (52 kg.) made her sharp form count and prevailed by just half a neck over Sia (53 1/2) in a duel of lightweights.
Trained by Juan Carlos and Juan Sebastián Maldotti, the mare racing for Stud La Bom who was raised at the historic Haras Los Prados earned an extra reward, triggering the San Isidro Trébol bonus, which will see her collect 50 percent more in prize money.
The race, which saw favorites End of Spring (Il Campione, 60 1/2) and It's My Look (Equal Stripes, 59) fail to impact, became a match race between the winner and the runner-up, who tracked each other closely through opening fractions of 25s4/100, 47s35/100, and 1m10s86/100.
Between the final part of the turn and the early yards of the stretch, Sia opened up an advantage and looked for a moment as though she might draw off to the wire, but apprentice Leo Acuña kept the pressure on aboard Hidden Vision, who began to cut into the deficit to secure the top spot in the closing stages, stopping the clock in a valuable time of 1m35s37/100.
It marked the fourth victory for the granddaughter of Pollard's Vision in 13 lifetime starts, confirming her upward trajectory.
